On November 25th, the Mastercard For Fintechs event took place at the prestigious Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris, highlighting the best in fintech innovation. Our CEO, David Jacob, represented FinTech Belgium at this remarkable gathering, which brought together leading industry players, innovators, and key stakeholders.
The event featured a diverse range of participants, including our member Finflag, alongside industry colleagues GoDutch and Pay4You. Spanning sectors such as HR tech, payments, crypto, and banking services, the event celebrated the rich variety and strength of the Western European fintech ecosystem.
A highlight of the day was the announcement of Rauva as the grand prize winner of the 2024 Mastercard For Fintechs competition. This achievement reflects Rauva's potential to transform payments and drive financial inclusion, supported by a €50,000 prize package, mentorship opportunities, and access to Mastercard’s sponsorship assets.
